About Solace Hospice

Solace has been Idaho’s premier hospice since 2009.  Today Solace employs 30 professionals who care for patients with life-limiting illnesses daily in the patient’s home, assisted living communities, residential care facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or anywhere the patient may call home. Solace team members include physicians, registered nurses (RN), licensed practical nurses (LPN), certified nurse assistants (CNA), licensed social workers (LSW), spiritual care coordinators, and other caregiving professionals. Solace is locally owned and operated. Our name comes from the synonym of the word comfort and symbolizes the Solace mission: improving the quality of life through compassionate care.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life through compassionate care. We provide individualized hospice care to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individual patients in their last stages of life. Our hospice staff strives for honesty and integrity at all times and embraces a spirit and philosophy of caring. Our hospice team focuses on the importance of educating the community about this wonderful benefit.

Solace Hospice is a Southeastern Idaho recognized leader that provides quality and innovative hospice care. Our vision is to allow those that have hospice to remain independent as long as possible.

Justin Cheney

CEO

Justin is a graduate of Brigham Young University and received his Masters in Organizational Business Management from the University of Phoenix. His interest peaked in hospice after a hospice team helped his grandfather, whom he was close with. The compassionate care allowed him more time with his grandfather and so began his passion for the hospice benefit. That compassion continues to be the motivation that has driven Solace HealthCare to be the premier hospice provider in Southeast Idaho.

Justin is the sole owner and has been an owner of Solace HealthCare for over a decade. He plans to see the excellent hospice care be promoted in our community and to advocate for those in need.

Justin’s interests include traveling the world, golfing, and skiing.
